Job Description:
Acre is delighted to be working exclusively with LTS International Ltd an entirely employee-owned, boutique consultancy with a strong 40-year track record in successfully delivering sustainable development projects worldwide. Due to growth, LTSI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Consultant to lead the company’s M&E Practise and it’s expanding global portfolio of evaluation contracts.
Reporting directly to the MD, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring continued high-quality, cutting edge and methodologically sound project evaluation services for a range of clients, particularly linked to LTSI’s established and specialist reputation in climate finance, resilience building, REDD+ forestry and integrated natural resources management.
The Principle Consultant will play a key part of the leadership of the business, through knowledge-sharing and mentoring of the M&E team.

Define, establish and rolling out a new a 5-year strategy plan, delivering commercially-sound and profitable projects.

Work closely with the Business Development Team to identify innovative opportunities in existing and new global markets.

Deliver multiple, high-quality consulting assignments for existing high-profile clients, plus develop new and equally-inspiring business partnerships.
In turn for this exciting opportunity, our client is seeking a flexible, adaptable, dynamic and culturally sensitive candidate, with the following skills & experience:

Demonstrable experience, preferably gained from within an internationally-focused, multi-disciplinary consultancy.

Proven success in monitoring and delivery of complex programme/project evaluations

Proven success in performance management of technical staff.

Masters degree in a relevant discipline ie. international development, economics, public policy or natural resource management.

Sophisticated report writing skills & excellent spoken and written English are essential.
