Value based selling (VBS) is this a new form of bullshit bingo?

I am sure some of my smarter colleagues will enlighten me but surely this is more smokes and screen, is it not? What were we selling before small value, little value or no value?



I am sure some of my smarter colleagues will enlighten me but surely this is more smokes and screen, is it not? What were we selling before small value, little value or no value? Is there such a thing as non value based selling?

If there ever was an admission of guilt this must be it. If our new model is value based, the old one was.. If we are correcting the errors of the past thats fine, my only concern is what is our motivation? A desire to meet patients/doctors needs? Or a manoeuvre to get out of our current predicament?

Does it matter? I think so. We have to get our orientation right. We are privileged to work in this industry and we should dedicate ourselves to serving patients and doctors as much as we do to profiteering. So as far as VBS is concerned if it not BS, why are we doing it?
