SFE Europe- the power of the text message

I am rather excited this afternoon.

I am rather excited this afternoon. Our ventures into twittering at the SFE conference have received a not to be sniffed at 172 reads in the first day, and as more people find out about it, we should hopefully get some more interaction happening throughout the day tomorrow. Another interesting development has been the addition of an anonymous text in option to ask speaker questions. We shouldn't underestimate the slightly intimidating element of standing up and asking a question in front of 550 of your peers. The text line has delivered several worthy questions throughout the day, and during the current panel discussion on 'Selling Pharmaceuticals in 2015'- our exclusive, intimate meeting yesterday, the text questions have come thick and fast. Hopefully this will become an established interaction method to the conferences moving forward. It also demonstrates the level of interest in this area. Whilst only a third of the audience raised their hands when questioned on whether they thought VBS was going to be important going forward, the amount of queries on the topic suggests that people would like to know a lot more.
