Scandinavia’s travel search engine Reseguiden.se has disclosed its plans of launching a new travel search site for the Norwegian market.

“We see a major potential yet to be explored in the Norwegian market and believe there is a great demand for an unbiased travel search engine there,” Reseguiden chief executive officer Michael Blaxland said in a statement.

The details and name of the new search engine, said to be the first in a series of expansion steps onto new markets from Reseguiden.se, will be made public on January 12.

“Every month we help over half a million travellers find the right holiday at the right price. We achieve this by comparing a wide range of products from over 500 travel agencies, tour operators, airline companies, hotels, etc. We cooperate with 30 of Sweden’s largest newspapers and media sites whom use our search engine to serve their visitors unbiased and current information. Our goal is always to be the obvious choice for holiday planners,” says the company on its site.
