A new travel site Voyij.com, described as the first site “to access and organise all the best travel deals, sales and promotions all under one roof”, has been launched.

Travel deals and sales are defined as last minute specials, undersold inventory, special offers, and sales offered by travel suppliers. The new site targets the “deals” tab on websites and gathers, aggregates and organises all of the best travel deals and sales from suppliers on the web. This way a user can go to one centralised location to find the best of what’s out there.

Voyij has been set up by Brent Stewart, its CTO Nick Atkins and Paul Kim. Stewart also co-founded SideStep, while the other two also have had stints with the same travel search engine (acquired by Kayak towards the end of 2007).

“We developed the technology behind Voyij because we were frustrated by not having a way to easily search for and find just the best travel deals, sales and bargains on the web,” said Brent Stewart, CEO of Voyij, Inc. “With Voyij, people can now find the best offers and specials on the web from one site, while learning about interesting new destination and vacation options from websites they never heard of and places they never thought of. It’s deal discovery and refinement in one place.”

Voyij is paid a commission to help suppliers sell their offers. All travel deals found through Voyij is booked directly with its travel partners.

It is currently offering airline ticket, hotel and vacation package deals. In the near future, the company will also provide cruise and car rental deals. Currently, it is covering North America and the Caribbean nations.

Transparency

Voyij has incorporated deal validating technology called Voyij Price Challenge. This allows users to do a one-click comparison of each offer in its system to check what it would cost if booked from another travel supplier.
