Travel search engine Cheapflights.com has introduced Flights and Travel Forum, a destination where members can have a travel-related discussion among themselves.

Free to join at http://cheapflights.ning.com/, the Flights and Travel Forum provides members with a place to share destination information, post hotel reviews and conduct interactive discussions for upcoming trips.

"Citizen journalism is growing in popularity and people are now listening to what their peers have to say more than ever," said Carl Schwartz, Chief Travel Officer, Cheapflights.com.

"It was important for us to create a forum on Cheapflights.com for our 3.5 million monthly visitors to share travel thoughts and ideas, as well as sound off on their travel horror stories so fellow cheap travel fans can avoid the same fate. And while they're on the boards, if they learn about a new cheap flight deal to take advantage of that's even better," added Schwartz.

Users can also participate in up to four separate forums: Business, Pleasure, Destination Reviews and Find Cheap Flights, which is the only message board of its kind that allows people to share tips on cheap airfare deals that other members can check out and take advantage of.

"No topic is off the table so long as 10 general "code of conduct" rules are followed; these include no posts that may be deemed offensive, are not relevant to the discussion at hand, or refer to unapproved solicitations or advertisements," stated the company.

The Flights and Travel Forum home page links directly to the Cheapflights.com travel guides.
