Budget Rent A Car System has introduced RSS service, allowing the customers to avail the best deal available.

The company is offering instant notification whenever a special promotional price is offered that might help save money on Budget car rentals, through RSS or Really Simple Syndication.

John Peebles, vice president of online marketing at Avis Budget Group, Inc., parent company of Budget, said that now, by simply setting up a Budget RSS feed, Budget customers don't have to come back to the site over and over again to check for better rates. Customers can select three travel destinations to monitor for special deals using their favorite RSS feed reader.

Budget customers can set up the Budget RSS feed on whatever home page they use for their other information needs and receive instant alerts for any special pricing offers from Budget for any three travel destinations. When the customer sees a better rate for a planned trip in the RSS feed window, they can just click on the link and be taken directly to budget.com to change their reservation and lock in the extra savings.

"Many Budget customers may travel frequently to a given destination, either for business or family or other reasons," said Peebles. "For those with flexibility in scheduling these trips, the Budget RSS feed allows them to plan their travel for times when they know they can get a great rate on their Budget car."
