Promptu and OAG have signed an agreement to provide mobile applications and services containing OAG flight schedule and status data to the airline industry.

The companies revealed that their first public product, a WAP site (an Internet site formatted specifically for mobile devices) is available to Verizon subscribers for $2.99 per month.

The OAG Flights2Go service is also available on a subscription basis directly from OAG.

"We believe mobile devices are a perfect medium for business travelers to access this valuable asset. We have started with the WAP site, and intend to bring best-of-breed design to Java clients that will similarly take advantage of OAG's data," said John Lynch, VP, Promptu, a specialist in voice-powered mobile applications.
