SentimentMetrics, a social media monitoring service, has released a hotel review monitoring dashboard that pulls in all the reviews from the major online review sites and social networks.

The sites include Tripadvisor, Travelocity, Hotels.com, Youtube and Flickr.

"With over half of all hotel bookings coming from the internet, and 75% of them being influenced by online reviews, clearly hotel's reputations can be severely damaged by just one negative review", said Leon Chaddock, CEO, SentimentMetrics.

"We have applied our advanced technology to record all major reviews about hotels and categories them by Sentiment and origin. This very quickly lets hotel clients know about what is being said about them, and how their booking rates maybe effected. Further than this it provides great market intelligence on what they are doing well, or badly and therefore helps them improve their service increasing profits," said Chaddock.

The company is charging £50 (around $100) a month for a single property plus three competitors' information. Apart from the hours of time the service can save other benefits including displaying all reviews/ commentaries about hotels in one easy to access place, automatically emailing reviews to the hotel the same day they are written, competitive intelligence to see what competitors are doing well, and doing badly so they can be surpassed, identifying problems with hotels service, or facilities and act.
and viewing customer ratings and how they change overtime.
