Rambler Media Ltd., an Internet media and services group in Russia, has launched an online travel service, Rambler Navigation.

The service, developed entirely by Rambler, recommends the best travel options in and around Moscow.

It will inform drivers of traffic conditions and the most efficient routes in Moscow and its surroundings.

Rambler's Chief Product Officer Arkady Moreynis described the service as the first of its kind in Russia.

The new service, accessible from Rambler's homepage or directly at http://nakarte.rambler.ru, allows users to search specific addresses in Moscow or find the quickest routes from start to finish whilst taking traffic conditions into account.

According to the company, Rambler Navigation searches through thousands of possible itineraries to find the most convenient route options. The system displays results in the form of detailed itineraries on a map with step-by-step instructions as well as expected travel duration.

The company has interests in Russian language Internet brands including the Internet homepage and search engine Rambler.ru, online newspaper Lenta.ru and product comparison website Price.ru.

(EyeforTravel is scheduled to conduct Online Travel Market Russia 2008 conference on 24-25 September 2008 during the Leisure Exhibition at Crocus Expo in Moscow. For more information, contact:
