French airport operator ADP is to launch an online travel agency in September or early October.

According to the daily Le Parisien, the service will be called adp-voyages.com and will be run by a new, wholly owned subsidiary of ADP.

The company will be able to go ahead with the launch after it was accorded a travel agency licence at the end of March, the newspaper reported.

The company has offered travel reservations on its main website since December 2006 in partnership with travel group Expedia and is `very satisfied with the number of reservations' generated, according to an internal source quoted by Le Parisien.
