Holiday Autos in Australia has released an updated online booking system for travel agents, and an affiliated programme allowing clients to book direct through agent’s websites with agents earning commissions on these direct bookings at the same rate as t

“Our Car Partner program virtually does the thinking for travel agents. It directs them instantly to the best rates available from over fifty suppliers we are associated with worldwide; in the UK Car Partner has been so successful that over 4000 agents there have given it an enthusiastic 'thumbs up' for speed and ease of use,” says company’s managing director Chris Hamill.

He reportedly said that Car Partner Plus adds another dimension to travel agent’s own websites. “Car Partner Plus, which costs agents nothing to join, is updated daily, contains all the latest specials and car rental deals, and allows agents to earn extra income at the same attractive commissions as telesales - and virtually without lifting a finger. Our online support is second to none, and most importantly by monitoring our prices daily with our Price Tracker system, we ensure our clients and agents receive the sharpest prices in the world,” said Hamill. As per the reports, Car Partner and Car Partner Plus offered agents direct XML access to many of Holiday Autos major suppliers, and gave instant confirmation on 90% of bookings.

In June this year, Australian rental car wholesaler World Cars has announced its plans merge its operations with Holiday Autos. It was stated that following the strategic alliance, the company will be known as Holiday Autos Australia, and World Cars owners Chris Hamill and Michael Hay will take over the roles of managing director and executive chairman, respectively.
