Technology the key to success in the ‘Most valuable HCP or Healthcare initiative’ category at eyeforpharma Barcelona Awards

ASD Healthcare, Boehringer Ingelheim, Eli Lilly, Sanofi, Angelini and the George Institute of Global Health have been announced as the finalists for the ‘Most valuable HCP or healthcare initiative’ award at the first eyeforpharma Barcelona Awards.

The names of the six shortlisted companies for this award, selected from over 100 nominations, were identified as the front-runners in HCP innovation and value creation in the industryand were released as part of the much-anticipated list of finalists for the inaugural eyeforpharma Barcelona Awards.

Five of the six shortlisted projects were technology-based, highlighting the real steps the industry is taking to move with the times and apply cutting-edge systems to real-life situations.  Of the George Institute of Global Health’s FoodSwitch App judges agreed that the project was “an excellent utilization of technology to improve public health” while the PAINlab app from Italy’s Angelini was praised for “demonstrating a good understanding of what physicians need for pain management”.

The very first eyeforpharma Barcelona Awards, sponsored by IMS Health, will take place on Tuesday 18th March at the CCIB, Barcelona from 7.30pm, to be held as part of the largest gathering of pharma executives, eyeforpharma Barcelona.The evening will be attended by the top 200 VIPs from the pharma industry.
