A few articles we've found particularly interesting over the last week or so:

  1. Customer Experience is the most exciting opportunity for marketers in 2014, according to Adobe and Econsultancy in this infographic. Which is a relief, because we’ve been talking about it for a while now.

  2. An in-depth look at how Damien Cummings is modernising Philips marketing strategy in the APAC region (with an increasing focus on digital) - in this piece from Campaign.

  3. Your brand is getting less powerful - that’s the assertion James Surowiecki (author of The Wisdom of Crowds) makes in this New Yorker piece. He uses the travails of Lululemon as a jumping off point for a very interesting article that we happen to agree with.

  4. The rise of the customer-centric marketing department continues apace. Newell Rubbermaid have just put their head of Market Research in the CMO’s seat.

  5. David Edelman sets out the new “Four P’s” of marketing - Pervasive, Participatory, Personalized and Prescriptive. More over at LinkedIn.
