Incite develops our products through constant research with, and feedback from, the marketing community.

We like to share the fruits of that research with you whenever we can. In the run-up to the Incite Summit:East (12-13 Nov, NYC), we asked your peers about internal collaboration - an increasingly pressing issue if you want to deliver a seamless customer experience. Last year, the Incite Summit was the first conference to bring together the marketing and communications community. This year, we're investigating whether we should get other departments on board.

Here are the current findings from our ongoing survey on the topic:

Collaboration Who Should Mar (1)

As you can see, it appears we were correct in focusing on the Communications department as the 'first collaborator' for a marketer. We'll continue to build the Incite Summit:East for both communities in 2014. In second place is IT - which is perhaps surprising considering the amount of articles out there on the CMO becoming the CIO and vice-versa.

What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments - or by contributing to the survey yourself.
