Six in ten freight forwarders find it hard to track containers
Following containers and achieving visibility across the transit process continues to challenge forwarders and carriers says poll

In a survey conducted by Container xChange, 60% of freight forwarders, carriers and traders have admitted that they face issues following goods over the complete shipping process.
The research says that tracking pick-up and drop-off of containers, their location and the timestamps for when that occurs were all points of friction.
Container xChange said in a release that 57% of freight forwarders think that chasing containers will be the biggest challenge this peak season, which is followed by the lack of real-time visibility, at 43%.
“As the container logistic industry still grapples with unprecedented challenges, it becomes important that companies realize the power of digital adoption for tackling future uncertainties.”
