On the evening of the 30th September, sustainability practitioners from across the globe met in London to celebrate some of the best organisations, initiatives, and people in responsible business

Nearly 200 practitioners of responsible business - from a great variety of geographic and industrial backgrounds - descended upon the Waldorf Hilton in London on 30th September to acknowledge some of the leading figures and organisations in sustainability. From FMCG to finance, from Phillipines to Poland, all manner of organisations were present and represented on the night.

Natalia Cohen, the record breaking ocean rower, set the tone for the evening with a fantastic regaling of her 257-day long expedition across the Pacific.

BBC World News presenter Kasia Madera provided a predictably professional and commanding presence as presenter for the evening.

The food, drink, and conversation were all in great flow throughout, and with all that, the stage was set for the winners and highly commended from each category to be announced...

Lifetime Achievement

Dame Polly Courtice D.B.E., L.V.O., Director, Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership

Dame Polly Courtice ended the evening with a modest yet rousing speech to the evening's delegates: "We know the challenges we face are not getting any easier; we know there’s an enormous amount we still need to do to respond to those challenges. But it amazes me to think what it is possible to do when you give people the licence to do it.”
