VRX to help Holland America Line to attract and retain more online customers

VRX Studios Inc. has been chosen by Holland America Line, Inc. to create, host, and syndicate web-friendly, 360-degree virtual tours of cruise line’s fleet of thirteen cruise ships.

VRX Studios Inc. has been chosen by Holland America Line, Inc. to create, host, and syndicate web-friendly, 360-degree virtual tours of cruise line’s fleet of thirteen cruise ships.

Rick Meadows, CTC, senior vice president - marketing and sales, Holland America Line, said the decision to opt for VRX is part of its endeavour to make each voyage memorable for each of its guests. The cruise line said through online content, it showcases its spacious staterooms, exceptional dining areas, and the variety of premium public spaces onboard its ships.

Holland America Line said the role of VRX studios is to work on interactive visual content, which would the prospective consumers and travel agents to research and compare the accommodations, amenities, and facilities offered aboard each of Holland America Line’s ships to strengthen the online distribution channels.

Apart from producing 360-degree virtual tours of each of client’s cruise ships, VRX will also provide all associated hosting services to ensure the images created are readily accessible on the company’s website, www.hollandamerica.com.

It was also announced that apart from hosting services, VRX will make the new content of Holland America Line’s ships available to all online travel intermediaries for a period of five years.

VRX Worldwide Inc.’s wholly-owned subsidiary, VRX Studios Inc., had recently signed a one year licensing agreement with Trisept Solutions Inc. As per the agreement, VRX will provide Trisept Solutions' clients, including Southwest Airlines Vacations, United Vacations, and Funjet Vacations, with its Hotel Content.

The company had also signed licensing agreement with Priceline.com in the beginning of June.
