Continuing its licensing agreement spree, VRX Studios Inc. has been chosen by HotelsbyCity.com for VRX’s Hotel and Destination content. The two companies entered into a one year licensing agreement.

HotelsbyCity says its objective is to offer the best information, in terms of detailing and accuracy, and rates for hotels online.

Andrew Loewen, president and co-founder, HotelsbyCity said that VRX’s Hotel and Destination Content will help build consumer confidence, customer loyalty, and its online sales. This would be done through reliable and appealing visual content, such as interactive maps, still images, and virtual tours, delivering pertinent information to consumers.

“In researching the available tools that help consumers research and select the accommodation options that best meet their needs, none are as effective, simple, and seamless as VRX’s,” said Loewen.

Each hotel listed on HotelsbyCity’s website has detailed textual information and basic photos for online consumers to review. HotelsbyCity presents the information on a city by city basis and offers powerful search capabilities to present consumers with the best information available for each of the thousands of hotels and hundreds of destinations it covers, says the company.

As per the latest agreement, www.hotelsbycity.com will strengthen its content via VRX’s library of Destination Content featuring destinations throughout the Caribbean, Europe, and North America and VRX’s Hotel Content covering the leading three, four and five star hotels and brands like including Hyatt, Kimpton, Caesar's, Sandals, and Starwood. Access to VRX’s Hotel and Destination libraries is covered under VRX’s standard licensing terms and includes the creation of a customized viewer.

HotelsbyCity stated that VRX’s Hotel Program makes it possible for travel intermediaries to provide travel consumers with a “consistent, high quality, in-depth view of hotels - views that consumers can rely on as being accurate and up to date at all times.”

“Combined with VRX's Destination Content, consumers are now able to virtually explore the natural and man-made wonders of each destination as well as thoroughly review and compare their hotel options. VRX's Travel Content helps consumers book every vacation with greater confidence and certainty,” said HotelsbyCity.

For VRX Studios, the latest development follows its recent agreements with Holland America Line, Trisept Solutions Inc. and Priceline.com.
