Facilitating consumers travel planning and booking process with two new offerings, SideStep.com has launched RSS feeds of current travel deals and consumer-generated hotel reviews.

In a category like travel, in which specials come and go quickly, staying abreast of these deals can be difficult and time-consuming, says the company. On new offering, the company says new RSS feeds help travelers keep tabs on deals to their favorite destinations so they don’t miss great travel opportunities and new hotel reviews make it easier for consumers to make informed hotel selections.

Powered by TravelPost.com, these reviews offer both numerical ratings and detailed comments on a wide selection of hotel properties. Travelers can filter the reviews based on attributes such as reviewer age, gender and purpose of stay to see feedback from travelers who are most like them. These reviews complement SideStep’s other valuable hotel content, which includes photos, star-ratings, property descriptions and amenity information, according to the company.

Other than this, SideStep has announced an extensive partnership with Delta Air Lines designed to market the carrier’s web site, the new delta.com.

“A combination of search results listings and geographically targeted in-product advertising will enable Delta to reach active travelers as they search for specific trips. Customers will earn bonus SkyMiles, avoid booking fees, and obtain Delta’s best fares by booking directly on delta.com. Delta will also tap SideStep’s popular email newsletter, TravelFinds Specials, to spur participation in specific promotions. These marketing programs will all bring consumers directly to delta.com,” stated the company.
