JDA Software and Rainmaker Group expand relationship in hospitality market

The Rainmaker Group is a software and services company that provides revenue management for over one-half million units in the casino/gaming, multi-family housing and other industries.

The new agreement extends The Rainmaker Group’s right to market and sublicense JDA’s hospitality revenue management software in the hospitality industry.

JDA Group Vice President Revenue Management Andy Archer said the initiative represents important progress towards JDA’s strategic vision for the hospitality industry.

Archer said, “In the last few years, the market for Revenue Management solutions has matured and the requirements in the market are growing more sophisticated and specialised. With unmatched experience working with major hotel chains and extensive cross-industry knowledge, JDA has a clear leadership position in enterprise forecasting and pricing optimisation – the central components of our Next Generation Enterprise Revenue Management vision.”

Archer stated that The Rainmaker Group “has unparalleled expertise in the casino gaming segment and in customer value-based hospitality Revenue Management, which gives the company a compelling value proposition for larger and more complex hotels, making them a natural partner to market and implement JDA Revenue Mana gement solutions.”

“We are extending our partnership with Rainmaker to sell and sub-license JDA’s Hotel Revenue Management software in the non-gaming hospitality segment because we believe it will enable us to capitalise more effectively on the entire market,” added Archer.
