T2-Global.com has formed a long-term travel distribution and e-commerce alliance with Worldspan.

According to an official release, the newly launched T2-Global.com storefront serving US travel buyers, and portals scheduled to go live in 15 more countries this year, all employ Worldspan’s travel shopping, booking, transaction processing and electronic ticketing services. Global airfares from hundreds of airlines worldwide are also supplied by the Worldspan GDS.

T2- Global.com Senior Vice President George Gelsky said that the partnership with Worldspan enables the company to provide travelers with access to competitive airfares worldwide, along with “the unrivaled low-fare shopping technology to retrieve, book and ticket the best fares in seconds.”

Worldspan e-Pricing technology gives shoppers at T2-Global.com substantial power to shop low fares among millions of airfares, and advanced options to shop for the lowest available fares based on flexible dates and destinations.

T2-Global.com launched its US portal in January. In 2007, sites will be introduced to serve travel buyers in Germany, the United Kingdom and other European countries, as well as in Brazil, the Middle East and Asia. All portals will feature the most advanced Internet booking engine (IBE) technology, and support multiple languages and currencies.

T2-Global.com is an independent, privately owned company registered in the UK with subsidiary operating companies in Hamburg, Germany; Dallas, Texas; Spain; and Dubai.
