The Genesis Travel Distribution System is to expand the accessof its flagship reservationsproduct, FareSpider, a state-of-the-art low fareand web fare search and booking tool, to Genesis ResFlex subscribers and to all Worldspan automated travel agencie

FareSpider isapparently the first low fare reservations tool to combine GDS, web fares from airline and consumerweb sites, andcharter air fares into a single consolidated view. The features of its agent-friendlyinterfaceserve to enhance the GDS experience of today's demanding travel agencies.

FareSpider automatically books GDS fares or logs subscribers in to web-based booking sources, creates a PNR with GDS or web segments, handles service charge accounting, and creates interface files for itinerary printing and back-office systems.

The tool is currently used by Genesis subscribers in the US and Canada, and will also bemade available to all Worldspan agencieswhichticket via ARC or IATA/BSP Canada.

Agencies automated with other GDSs can access FareSpider via the Genesis Travel Alliance.

Genesis has also launched its newly designed web site www.genesistds.com, a keycomponent of Genesis' new branding and intensifiedagency awareness campaign. The web site incorporates more product feature and pricing information, online demonstrations, subscriber and member log-in areas, and access to Genesis regional sites.
