Pegasus Solutions has signed an agreement to provide UltraDirect distribution services to Kuoni Travel Ltd.

UltraDirect will provide Kuoni’s direct connections to hotel central reservation systems (CRS) through the Pegasus Switch, providing real-time access to CRS information.

Use of UltraDirect, which was also tapped last year by Kuoni Destination Management, will place Kuoni in a position to grow revenue by offering dynamic packaging to its global portfolio of online shoppers.

UltraDirect will allow Kuoni to integrate bookings with other services or data sources while also providing complete control of their website’s front end, said Tore Wick, vice president of business development for Pegasus.

“This means the company can work with any of their hotels or agents to easily and efficiently source and offer the complete experience and add-ons travelers are looking for, breaking through barriers of coordinating access and availability,” said Wick.
