Revelex Corporation, a provider of travel technology solutions for agents and vendors, has come up with new air features for its leisure-booking engine, Power Agent.

According to the company, these new capabilities, which include a points redemption system, consolidated air fares, complex routing logic, and comprehensive yield management tools enhance the booking process for travel agents by enabling them to offer their clients’ more tailored results. This improves overall customer service and ultimately, increases agency sales and profitability.

Power Agent’s new, consolidated fares allow agents to quickly search for the lowest prices from multiple consolidators at one time, or specific vendors they wish to search.

Additionally with flexible agency markup features, travel agents now have greater control over profitability as they can upsell or downsell air travel according to the client and market.

A newly developed point redemption system has also been implemented giving clients the ability to execute redemption of rewards as selected based on the loyalty account information and associated customer loyalty reward program data – helping the agent build customer loyalty and repeat sales.

To further customise the client’s air travel experience, agents will also have direct access to seat maps so clients can choose their seat preference when traveling.
