Multi-Stop international travel technology and services company Airtreks.com has worked on an improved online tool, which according to the company, simplifies the planning and pricing multi-stop international airfares.

The company officially states that TripPlanner 5.0 from Airtreks.com is the fastest, easiest to use, and most powerful tool ever available on the Web for pricing and planning complex, customised,
international airline journeys.

Steve Johnson, vice president, sales and marketing for Airtreks.com said that with TripPlanner 5.0, the company has made its online tools for planning a complex trip "as easy as they are powerful". "We have always said that a trip around the world is easier and more affordable than most people think," said Johnson.

TripPlanner 5.0 can price trips starting and ending anywhere in the world and is available at www.airtreks.com

"Using the new version 5.0 of Airtreks.com's patent-pending TripPlanner, visitors to the Airtreks.com Web site can now pick a list of destinations from a world map, get instant one-click airfare estimates and options for a trip including all of their
destinations, and much more," according to
Airtreks.com.

The improvements in TripPlanner 5.0 include the ability to pick destinations simply by clicking on a zoomable world map (or by city name or airport code), and improved features to store and modify the trips you are planning, view them on a world map, explore alternate routes, and share your plans with friends or traveling companions. "Prices from Airtreks.com for tickets around the world - beginning and ending in the USA - start from less than US$1500, less than half the price of the cheapest RTW fare published by any of the major airline alliances," says the company.

The company says since TripPlanner 1.0 went live in 1998, Airtreks.com has been the only site on the Web that can price customised around-the-world and other complex international air itineraries, without restricting travelers to a limited menu of standard routes or a maximum number of destinations.

Airtreks' flagship Internet application TripPlanner technology enables visitors to create a customised itinerary with an unlimited number of destinations and receive instant prices.

The Airtreks suite of proprietary travel software also includes TripJournal travel diary. Airtreks' Global Sourcing strategy makes it possible to provide Multi-Stop International air tickets at a fraction of the price offered by traditional travel agents and airlines, often at 30% to 50% off published fares, according to the company.
