UK’s online viewable travel brochure site, www.onlinetravelbrochures.com (OTB), has worked upon strategic alliances with three technology agencies that will allow the company to sell advanced page-turning technology from as little as £2.50 per page.

The deals with Cshop, Intellimag and Vcab means the site can now offer five professional viewing options with different levels of enhanced interaction which can include flash, sound, video and direct links.

Paul Green, managing director, OTB, said: “We now have a tiered pricing structure that means we can offer each individual tour operator a number of options and formulate a package that meets their strategic goals and vision. The new lead-in price of £2.50 will come as something of a shock to people who still view this highly advanced and aesthetically pleasing technology as very expensive. Prices are being driven down and page-turning technology is now open to everyone.”

“Add to this the new technology, which means we can display any digital brochure in any format, and we now have a site that can improve in scope and popularity at an unprecedented rate,” said Green.

Following a substantial technology investment, OTB has also invited tour operators who use different digital brochure software to submit their brochures to the site for inclusion. Every brochure will continue to be promoted equally to ensure impartiality.

OTB is free and allows users to view pages online and search by holiday category, destination or hotel without the need for downloads or additional software.

The site recently revealed that it had received 510,000 visitors between May 2005 – May 2006, a figure it expects to grow three-fold in the coming year. It currently features 80 tour operators and over 400 brochures. OTB was originally created as an additional element to www.surf2travel.com (S2T) and was launched as a stand-alone business in May 2005.
