The AA has made changes to its travel and accommodation pages online at theAA.com/travel. It is now using a white-label service from the Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) to let users book hotel and bed-and-breakfast accommodation in the UK.

AA establishments have been linked to Expedia feature on Route Planner at the route’s destination and also appear as pop-ups along the route. The AA route planner enables users to search for and book hotels when planning their route.

According to the company, since this inclusion, traffic to individual establishment pages has increased, with over 60 percent of visits arriving via Routeplanner. This increased traffic has resulted in an increase in online bookings made through theAA.com, with sales figures currently up on last year’s figures. Further details weren’t shared.
