The use of virtual and augmented reality (XR) in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries has been a major area of growth over the last 12 months. However, there are still many regulatory challenges to overcome, and plenty of questions still to be answered.

Concerns around privacy and safety are very much at the top of regulators’ minds, with issues around liability and ownership of data sources of great contention.
