  • Integrating the SDGs into supply chain strategy: 54% of executives polled stated that their business is integrating the SDGs into their supply chain management strategy. Some of the most stated challenges of integrating the SDGs within the supply chain include: impact analysis, developing appropriate KPIs, translating the SDGs language into actionable, operational language and lack of budget and internal recognition

  • Getting greater traceability and transparency is the most important issue in 2019: 75% of the survey respondents indicated this as either being either “very important” or “extremely important” to their business in 2019.

  • The biggest opportunities in 2019: Respondents were asked to predict the biggest supply chain opportunities in 2019. The most stated opportunities include; increasing focus on SDGs, collaboration between brands and suppliers, better data, blockchain and new collaborations and innovations on circular economy.
