Free access to our high-quality insights and analysis, alongside new partnerships, will help us play a greater role in building a more sustainable future, and increase our existing community of 100,000 global business leaders

This month marks an exciting new path for Ethical Corporation’s magazine and website.

The monthly magazine and online articles have moved from being subscriber-only to now being freely accessible to all. Liam Dowd, managing director at Ethical Corporation, announced the new direction in front of 500 CEOs and heads of business at this week’s Responsible Business Summit Europe conference: “We at Ethical Corporation are driven to accelerate the change to a clean, more sustainable future and we need to transform our own model to help support this action. I’ve worked on the magazine for nearly 10 years and it has always been my belief that the high-quality insights and analysis should be read by all. Now our community of over 100,000 global business executives will have the latest independent and in-depth analysis at their fingertips.”

There’s been a complete redesign of the monthly magazine and online website to help improve experience for our readers. While our video recordings will still sit behind a paid-for firewall, the monthly digital magazine and online articles will be accessible to all.”

Each month, Ethical Corporation sheds light on some of the greatest sustainability challenges facing business. The June issue of the magazine delves into the topic of climate-smart agriculture, following our in-depth exploration of the circular economy in May. The editorial calendar for the remainder of the year can be viewed here.

As Terry Slavin, editor of the magazine and website, explains: “We are doing this through a mixture of supported content, such as the opening article in this month’s issue, supported by WBCSD, and sponsored content, such as the article by The Nature Conservancy, with which Ethical Corporation now has a partnership spanning editorial content and events.”

She highlights that “the magazine is proud of its reputation for rigorous independent journalism, built up over nearly 18 years, and made possible by our subscribers. We pledge to preserve this, while bringing our journalism to much bigger audiences under the new funding model, by being transparent about how companies are backing our content. Partnerships are the way forward for sustainable business, and Ethical Corporation is part of this.”
