Worldwide business leaders will gather in London in May to discuss how to create robust responsible business practices at leading corporate responsibility and sustainability summit 22 February 2010, London

Over 200 corporate responsibility and sustainability professionals have already signed up to attend the Responsible Business Summit, a 9th annual conference taking place in London in May. Delegations from 23 different countries are already confirmed to attend, bringing a global flavour to proceedings and lending weight to the view that the conference will act as a worldwide meeting place for executives looking to take drive innovation and opportunity through better responsible business practice.

One reason for the influx of global professionals is the line-up of global business leaders due to share their insights with attendees at the conference.

Currently no less than 8 CEOs/Presidents are confirmed to deliver speeches to the conference. These include Hubert Patricot, Coca Cola Enterprises’ European President, Kenneth Bengtsson, CEO of Scandinavian retailer ICA, Steve Easterbrook, CEO of the UK division of McDonald’s, and Peter Unsworth, CEO of the newly formed Tata Beverages group of companies.

Each CEO will deliver a tailored speech on a sustainability/CR issue critical to their business. Speeches will cover timber sustainability, establishing challenging water/carbon targets, business complicity in human rights issues and how CR can help with the rebranding of your organisation.
