Locus Robotics Picks record-breaking 13 million units for retail and logistics partners during November 2019 holiday period

Warehouse robotics company reaches daily peak of 1 million units during cyber week

Warehouse robotics firm Locus Robotics (www.locusrobotics.com) announced a pick rate of more than 13 million units in November 2019 for its retail and third party logistics customers. The company says that it is a 400% increase in units picked over last year.

The company said in a press release that many customers scaled up earlier this season compared to last year, adding to their fleets before the coming rush.

A record 189.6 million U.S. consumers shopped from Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday this year, an increase of 14 percent over 2018's 165.8 million, according to National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics. Locus customers including DHL, GEODIS, Port Logistics, Verst Logistics, SANDOW, Marley Lilly, and Radial.
