eyefortransport Weekly Newsletter 9th May 2013

Shortlist for best 3PLs unveiled; Supply Chain at Colgate; more 1st quarter results; 3PL Warehouse map

It’s a busy time here at eyefortransport. We were inundated with comments about the new USA 3PL Warehouse Density Map we produced, we have been sent a lot more data from other 3PLs, so an update will be taking place this Summer – we will also endeavour to produce a European version shortly.

Next week the team is off to Amsterdam for the 7th European Hi-Tech and Electronics Supply Chain Summit. There is a fantastic attendee list for this event which can be viewed here, there is still time to secure your place.

And, on Monday I fly to Toronto to speak about 3PL contracting trends at the Supply Chain Canada event – let me know if you are going, and we can meet-up.

Lastly, we are proud to announce the shortlist for the North American Customer Choice 3PL Awards – shippers are invited to vote now for their favourite 3PL in specific industry verticals here before the 23rd May deadline. The winners will be celebrated at the 11th 3PL Summit and CSCO Forum in Chicago on June 18th.
