eyefortransport Weekly Newsletter 12th April 2013

Big Data Supply Chain; New team at TMS player; Port of HK strike; Customs Survey; Comp passes to eft events

A quieter week this week at eyefortransport in terms of industry news.

I know my team enjoyed meeting a number of you at the 15th Logistics CIO Forum in Long Beach recently, and 3 of the team are on site in Dusseldorf where the 3rd European Retail and Multi-channel Supply Chain Summit is taking place today and tomorrow. We have a couple more events coming-up which still have availability, including a limited number of complimentary passes for qualified attendees. If the topics, dates and location fit, then we would be delighted to meet you at one of them.

  1. 7thEuropean Hi-Tech and Electronics Supply Chain Summit, Amsterdam, May 16-17
  2. 14th European CIO Logistics Forum, Amsterdam, May 22-23 (Can you tell we like going to Amsterdam)
  3. 11th3PL Summit & CSCO Forum, Chicago, June 18-20 (The biggest eyefortransport event with 600 senior level attendees)

Make sure you watch the second part of the webinar on Big Data which we have just released.

Lastly, an appeal for 10 minutes of your time for another survey we are conducting about your European Customs Processes, obviously if you do not import or export out of Europe then this would not be relevant. If you are at all interested in how other shippers and 3PLs handle their Custom’s filing, and whether they outsource the functions involved, then please complete the survey here. The findings will only be shared with the actual respondents to the survey, so please complete asap.

Regards,
Chris Saynor
CEO, eyefortransport
