ShipBob and Walmart partner to provide two-day shipping for small businesses across the US

Deepening its move into e-commerce, Walmart is teaming up with ShipBob to provide two-day shipping coverage for all its Marketplace customers in the continental US

ShipBob, a 3PL and cloud-based logistics platform, is now listed as a shipping and fulfilment solution for Walmart’s marketplace sellers.

The partnership integrates ShipBob with Walmart Marketplace to display free two-day delivery badging, and will fulfil two-day orders for approved Walmart Marketplace sellers. Walmart hopes that its partners experience working with small and medium-sized businesses will improve Marketplace and help it be more competitive in the e-commerce space.

ShipBob’s integration aims to give Walmart Marketplace sellers a single view of their inventory, orders and shipments across all sales channels and locations. It also claims to offer advanced analytics, which will provide insights for sellers into their shipping performance, inventory allocation and fulfilment costs.

ShipBob also continues to support fulfilment for Walmart Marketplace orders outside of the two-day delivery program.

"We are excited about the strides Walmart is making in ecommerce," said Dhruv Saxena, CEO and co-founder of ShipBob. "Our mission is to democratize fulfillment for companies of all sizes, which is why we are excited to partner closely with best-in-class platforms like Walmart Marketplace. Together, we can now open our US fulfillment network to their sellers."

"Helping our sellers have access to 2-day delivery options is a key priority for Walmart. We're happy to be working with ShipBob and see this relationship as a big advantage for our sellers and customers," said Jeff Clementz, Senior Vice President of Walmart Marketplace.
