Retail leaders to discuss strategies to improve the final mile delivery experience for customers

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Convey, the leading customer-centric delivery platform, today announced its CEO Rob Taylor will participate in a panel discussion of retail industry leaders at eyefortransport’s D3: Dynamic Distribution Disruption Retail Summit 2017 in Brooklyn on May 15.
 
D3 USA is the innovation hub for more than 300 senior supply chain execs from major retailers, brands, CPG and service provider companies. The topics range from inventory forecasting to planning to distribution to the last mile and same-day delivery.
 
Gartner’s vice president of Retail Research Mike Griswold will moderate the panel, which will focus on last mile strategies and best practices to improve the delivery experience for customers.
 
Panelists will discuss how technology can increase visibility into in-transit shipments and improve networks to support evolving expectations. Other topics will include key processes for managing external carriers and ways to seek and understand customer feedback to alter and enhance final mile delivery service.
