Yusen Logistics (Benelux) B.V. expands logistics services for Konica Minolta Business Solutions Nederland BV

Konica Minolta is a global provider of document management solutions, offering solutions for document management in office and production environments. Their product offering includes a wide range of hardware and software products and additional services.
Yusen Logistics has provided services to Konica Minolta for three years, providing value added solutions ranging from, warehousing, pre-installation of new systems and final mile delivery to retrieval systems from end users.

Konica Minolta issued a tender for the outsourcing of all logistics activities, including all activities previously undertaken at the Konica Minolta warehouse in Badhoevedorp. Yusen Logistics will now expand its service to include:

- Dispatch of consumables,such as toners, to end users.

- Storage of spare parts and service parts.

- Refurbishment activities; return systems are cleaned, tested, repaired and repacked.

- "Asset recovery" or sourcing usable parts from dismantled systems, which can be reused.

All logistics activities for Konica Minolta will be based at Yusen Logistics’ 12,000m² facility in Edam, which operates twenty distribution vehicles  especially equipped for the transportation and delivery of high-value technical equipment. The Yusen Logistics Edam facility has a fully equipped workshop for various technical activities such as assembly, entering special network settings, refurbishment of machinery and various other value added services.
