Hughenden Consulting Set to Chair the Chief Supply Chain Officer Forum in Amsterdam, November 18-20th

Distinguished supply chain management experts, Hughenden Consulting, will be moderating the discussions at this year’s keenly anticipated Chief Supply Chain Officer Forum (Park Plaza Hotel Amsterdam, November 18-20).

Alain Vix, a seasoned supply chain industry heavyweight from the company, will be guiding the debate with his lively and interactive approach. Speaking about his role of Chairman, Vix stated: “I look forward to chairing this year’s summit as the subject is close to my heart.  Supply chains have never stopped evolving and some of the changes are almost cyclical in nature.  The exciting line-up of speakers provides a rich pool of stories from which I hope you will take inspiration.  You can trust me to keep the session dynamic and push the guests for answers when they give you a politician’s reply.”

Bringing together the supply chain elite from the biggest retailers and manufacturers in the region, the Chief Supply Chain Officer Forum will be exploring the latest supply chain opportunities, technologies and markets. Contributions from Chris Tyas, Group Head of Supply Chain at Nestle, Ivanka Janssen, MD Global Supply Chain at Diageo, Erik van der vliet, Head of Logistics Germany, Switzerland/Austria & Benelux at Microsoft and more will provide first hand insight into the hottest trends.  An exclusive keynote from John Allan CBE, Deputy Chairman, Dixons Carphone plc (former CFO of Deutsche Post, and former CEO of Exel) providing his insight on the future of retail and logistics.

Having been training and consulting in the field of supply chain planning for 20 years, Alain has a wealth of experience to bring to the table.  Specialisms in S&OP and change management will make for a thought provoking and engaging dialogue.  With this year’s event theme exploring supply chain transformation and 2020 supply chain redesign, Vixc comments: “It takes vision, courage, and strength of character to stand up and challenge the shape of your supply chain.  We hate to admit it, but most chains have become what they are through evolution rather than design.  So a fresh look at them might reveal some embarrassing truths…”

This year’s Chief Supply Chain Officer Forum is the ideal platform to examine the crucial trends and challenges changing the face of supply chain. Interactive panel debates, high-level presentations, live polling and multiple peer-to-peer discussion opportunities will provide key takeaways and crucial insight to help plot future supply chain strategy.
