Sharing economy changes supply chain; M2M changes supply chain; RFID did not change supply chain too well

I wanted to draw your attention to the first 3 articles below. The first from Dr. Walther Ploos van Amstel, who is an associate professor at Vrije Universiteit, is a really interesting insight into the sharing economy and how this could affect supply chain – definitely thought provoking. He’ll be sharing more of his research at our upcoming CSCO Forum (Amsterdam, Nov 18-20) and Logistics CIO Forum (Amsterdam, Nov 17-18).

Secondly, here at eft we have been hard at work over the summer working on a report with AT&T about how M2M is being used in the supply chain and transportation. We now have the findings to share with you based on a survey of nearly 380 executives, please let me know your thoughts.

Thirdly, yet more industry insight from eft, with the results of a survey about on the use of technology in the supply chain…RFID does not come out too well.
