Exel & UPS Appoint New Executives; The Latest in Transport Regulations; eft North American 3PL Awards Winners Announced

Today the eft team is busy at the 12th 3PL Summit and CSCO Forum in Chicago along with over 600 senior industry executives. The 3PL industry is at an interesting crossroads as it strives to offer real value added services and not just a commoditized product to its customers. I look forward to hearing the very latest thinking from many 3PL CEOs and their customers. We will report back to you in the coming weeks of the major findings from the event.

Related to this event and as part of our continuing supply chain research, I, along with our partners at Penn State University, Capgemini Consulting, Korn/Ferry International and Penske Logistics would appreciate your participation in the 2015 Third Party Logistics Study. Each year, many supply chain executives participate in the survey and gain an amazing insight into the 3PL relationship and you will get some useful benchmarking information.

eft's North American 3PL Awards were announced last night at the 12th Annual North American 3PL Summit during a charity gala boat party. You can see the winners here
