3PL Conference to Feature Top Logistics Decision Makers
eyefortransport has announced the program and speaker line-up for its 11th 3PL Summit and Chief Supply Chain Officer Forum (Radisson Blu Aqua, Chicago, June 18th – 20th) as well as the important industry topics set to be addressed by top decision makers...
The Summit is set to have three focussed tracks covering key topics in the industry. The first event track will focus on 3PL strategy, featuring an on-stage interview with CEVA Logistics CEO, Marvin Schlanger and a look at transportation prices, capacity, regulation and future trends featuring Derek Leathers (President and COO of Werner Enterprises), Tommy Barnes (President of Con-way Multimodal), Bill Clement (Vice President of Intermodal at CSX) and Todd Fowler (Vice President and Equity Research Analyst, KeyBanc Capital). The track also features Gartner’s inaugural Magic Quadrant for Global Third Party Logistics.
The second event track looks at 3PL customer relationships, including a keynote presentation by Joey Carnes (Chairman and CEO of MIQ Logistics) on emerging markets and a look into the future of logistics featuring presentations by Brad Jacobs (Chairman and CEO of XPO Logistics) and Jeff Silver (Founder and CEO of Coyote).
Finally, the third track looks at supply chain, and features a session dedicated to omni channel retail with presentations by Scott Spata (VP Supply Chain Development & Direct Fulfillment at the Home Depot) and Jeff Starcheski (Vice President of Logistics Services at Sears Holdings Corporation). Also featured are a look into what other areas supply chain executives can outsource in their supply chains with contributions from PWC and Mike Gardner, CDO of Exel.
