The company has been using the name REpower under licence since 2001.

One of the major recent developments was the unveiling of its new offshore turbine, the 6.2M152. As per the information made available late last year, the new turbine will enter commercial production from 2015 onwards. The new turbine features a rotor diameter of 152m.
