The forum, organised by Regen SW in partnership with Bristol City Council and Burges Salmon is the 7th in the series and was attended by over 110 industry experts, making it the largest to date.

“Bristol has the largest cluster of tidal energy companies in the world, so it is of little surprise that this event has gained somewhat of an international reputation,” said Regen SW.

The focus and topic of the 7th forum is the challenge of providing safe and cost effective marine operations services for the tidal energy sector, from installation through to operation and maintenance.

Johnny Gowdy, director of Regen SW, said: “This is the seventh time we have run the forum and the event has grown in popularity since its inception in 2011. The forum this autumn will be the largest audience to date, which is fantastic news with the Bristol 2015, European Green Capital programme just around the corner."
