CSP India Map 2012 unveiled by CSP Today

Researchers at CSP Today have completed work on the CSP India Map 2012, as part of the launch of the 3rd Concentrated Solar Thermal Power Summit India, taking place in New Delhi on 14-15 March.

Hours of research has resulted in the general release of the CSP India Map 2012 that details the size and location of plants that are currently operating, under construction or planned in India. Additionally, the map lists key information for projects developed under the JNNSM, including the fixed tariff rate per KW, the EPC contractor for each plant and the type of CSP technology being used in an easy-to-read format.

“It goes without saying that the Indian CSP industry is making some fantastic progress and the India map puts this into perspective,” event organizer Jack Ahearne explained.  The map will form a centrepiece for the 3rd Concentrated Solar Power Summit India, taking place 14-15 March in New Delhi.  At the conference itself, the map will be a unique reference point for presenters - with particular relevance to the Phase I Project panel. This panel will feature project development heavyweights Reliance Power, Lanco Solar, Corporate Ispat Alloys, Aurum Ventures and Godawari Power & Ispat who will discuss the progress made since Phase I and the impact these projects will have on market confidence and future CSP growth in India.

The map is free to download, and can be found here:
