BADR and MDC plan new CSP project

Project development company BADR Investments is to work on a project featuring CSP technology in Ma’an, located south of Amman, Jordan’s capital.

The company, which is going to be the project developer, is going to work in conjunction with Ma’an Development Company (MDC).

It is estimated that the project will be completed within three years from the date of receiving the necessary license and permits from the authorities in Jordan. The plan involves leasing of a 200-ha land over a period of 30 years in the Ma’an Development Area (MDA) for the construction of a CSP station.
