SciQuest launches business solutions service for research enterprises

The organization is designed to ensure that SciQuest solutions software and technologies are planned and deployed in the shortest and most cost-effective timeframe. Global Professional Services will join with clients to design and implement full-scale e-business solutions designed to address the special needs of research organizations and their suppliers and to integrate with customers' legacy systems, as well as the systems of software providers and product suppliers.

Susan Butler has been named Executive Vice President of Global Professional Services and will lead the organization. Butler, who recently joined SciQuest, has more than twenty years of project management, consulting and services experience. Prior to working for SciQuest, she was with IBM Global Services, where she served as Services Executive for the National Project Management Practice and as Director for the National Account Management Group for Technical Services Solutions, an IBM subsidiary.

"SciQuest Global Professional Services is focused on providing our clients with more than software and hosted applications," said Butler. "We want to ensure that SciQuest meets our commitments to deliver comprehensive solutions that improve our clients' research and procurement initiatives and ensure their business priorities are addressed. By integrating our clients' private marketplace solutions with professional project planning and management services, as well as specialized adoption and implementation tools, we will help our clients meet those business goals more quickly and efficiently."
