Over the summer, the team and I have been doing some fairly intensive primary research with CMOs and other senior executives working in marketing around the world.

Happily, all of us (Harry, Em, Hayley and myself) spotted the same three themes coming up again and again. OK, so they're slightly broader than just 'social media' - but I thought you might want to know more.

Therefore, I've written up three explanatory pieces, taking you through the three themes individually. They're on my Tumblr blog, and links are below:

  1. Customer-Centricity: How to put your customer at the heart of everything you do
  2. The Accessible Consumer and increasing marketing complexity (incl. SoLoMo)
  3. The Death of Push Marketing and 'traditional' company-consumer relations

Have a read, and please do give us your feedback. We'd love to get your views.
