A new approach to caregiver engagement and co-creation transforming insight generation, patient care and outcomes
Unpaid caregivers are one of healthcare’s great unknowns. They are many in number, with over 44 million providing unpaid support last year in the US alone, are growing in importance as populations age and healthcare becomes more fragmented, and possess unique insight into the complexities of the real-world patient experience.
This insight has massive potential for improving outcomes – with potential benefits ranging from improved trial recruitment, retention, and engagement, through to wearable and service design and evidence generation for regulatory assessment.
Yet the caregiver’s role in delivering patient care is often underappreciated - their insight overlooked. It’s time this ended.
Another cultural evolution is needed – patient centricity alone is not good enough anymore. Caregivers must also be central or care will suffer.
In our latest webinar we’ll be exploring how to design Patient Support Programmes (PSPs) that are also caregiver centric. We will redefine existing co-creation best practise, and outline key capability and engagement changes needed to be successful.
We’re just at the start of a new relationship. Let’s make sure it lasts.
