Magnus Billing is the CEO of Alecta, which provides collectively agreed occupational pensions, and is owned by approximately 2.4 million private customers and 34,000 corporate clients. Alecta’s assets under management amount to approximately US$90 billion. In 2016 Mr Billing was appointed to be a member of the European Commissions’ “high-level expert group” on sustainable finance. In January 2018, the group delivered their final recommendations for “a comprehensive EU strategy on sustainable finance as part of the Capital Markets Union”, which informed the Commissions’ Action Plan on Sustainable Finance launched in 2018. Prior to joining Alecta, Mr Billing was the CEO of Nasdaq Nordics, and Head of Fixed Income Nordic and Baltic Markets. At Nasdaq he previously held the position as Chief Legal Counsel and Senior Vice President of Nasdaq Group, Inc. Mr Billing has served as Director at the Federation of European Securities Exchanges, Swedish House of Finance and as an Alternate Director of the Swedish Corporate Governance Code Board of Directors. He holds a Law degree from Stockholm University.
Simon joined USS Investment Management Limited in October 2019 as Chief Executive Officer. He previously led the Fixed Income and Alternatives businesses at M&G Prudential for two decades before being asked to become Chair of Real Estate with a combined team of over 500 employees and around £160 bn in assets. He was also a member of the Executive Leadership Team. During his tenure at M&G Prudential, Simon championed innovation and pioneered new products in Europe. For example, Leveraged Finance, Infrastructure Private Equity, Commercial Mortgage Lending and, more recently, Specialty Finance and Impact Investing. Simon has a degree from Cambridge University.
Mr. Denis Duverne is a graduate of the École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC). After graduating from the École Nationale d’Administration (ENA), he started his career in 1979 at the Tax Department of the French Ministry of Finance, and after 2 years as commercial counsellor for the French Consulate General in New York (1984-1986), he became director of the Corporate Taxes Department and then responsible for tax policy within the French Ministry of Finance from 1986 to 1991. In 1991, he was appointed Corporate Secretary of Compagnie Financière IBI. In 1992, he became a member of the Executive Committee of Banque Colbert, in charge of operations. In 1995, Mr. Denis Duverne joined the AXA Group and assumed responsibility for supervision of AXA’s operations in the US and the UK and managed the reorganization of AXA companies in Belgium and the United Kingdom. From February 2003 until December 2009, Mr. Denis Duverne was the Management Board member in charge of Finance, Control and Strategy. From January 2010 until April 2010, Mr. Denis Duverne assumed broader responsibilities as Management Board member in charge of Finance, Strategy and Operations. From April 2010 to August 31, 2016, Mr. Denis Duverne was director and Deputy Chief Executive Off icer of AXA, in charge of Finance, Strategy and Operations. Mid-2014, Mr. Denis Duverne became a member of the Private Sector Advisory Group (PSAG), which brings together international leaders of the private sector whose shared goal is to help developing countries improve their corporate governance, co-founded in 1999 by the World Bank and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Since September 1, 2016, Mr. Denis Duverne has been non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of AXA. Since September 2018, he has been Chairman of the Insurance Development Forum (IDF). The IDF is a public-private partnership led by the insurance industry and supported by the World Bank and the United Nations, aiming to enhance the use of insurance to build greater resilience against disasters and to help achieve the United Nations Global 2030 Agenda.
Chris RuleCEOLocal Pensions Partnership Investments
Chris Rule is the CEO of Local Pensions Partnership Investments, one of eight UK local government pension scheme investment pools, as well as LPP Group. In these roles Chris leads and oversees c.£21bn of pensions investments, and the administration of pensions for more than 600,000 members. Chris originally trained as an investment risk manager and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. Over a period of two decades he has managed a variety of investment portfolios/businesses as both a direct investor and an allocator of capital – forging partnerships with like-minded investors and asset managers. Chris also chairs a primary phase multi academy trust and holds non-executive director positions within the renewables and project finance sectors.
Chuka Umunna is a Managing Director and the Head of ESG across Europe, the Middle East and Africa at JP Morgan. In this role he co-ordinates and integrates JP Morgan’s ESG strategy across the EMEA region. In particular, he leads the firm’s efforts in enhancing sustainability related client engagements and partners across the bank’s business lines in the region to improve the firm’s ESG-themed product offerings. He also oversees the banks efforts to incorporate ESG into its operations in the region.
Prior to this role, Chuka was Head of ESG at Edelman, the strategy and communications advisory firm, where he co-led its global ESG consulting practice. Chuka provided advice to senior executive leadership and company boards on the integration of ESG factors into corporate decision making. He has also served as a non-executive director of several UK companies, with particular Board responsibility for ESG oversight.
Widely recognised as the former Member of Parliament for Streatham (2010-2019) in the UK, Chuka served in HM Opposition as the Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills and Shadow Minister for Small Business for several years. A solicitor by profession, prior to his election to the UK Parliament he worked as a corporate employment lawyer for international City law firm Herbert Smith Freehills LLP for several years.
Valérie Baudson is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole S.A. in charge of the asset management division and a member of the Executive Committee of Crédit Agricole SA since May 2021. In this capacity, she is Chief Executive Officer of Amundi.
Valérie began her career in 1995 at Banque Indosuez in the General Audit department. She then joined Crédit Agricole Cheuvreux, the European brokerage subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole Group, as General Secretary and then Marketing Director for Europe.
Valérie joined Amundi in 2007 to create the ETF, Index & Smart Beta business line. Amundi ETF is now the 5th largest player in Europe. She went on to become a member of the group's Executive Committee in 2013 and then a member of the Management Committee in 2016, when she was also appointed Managing Director of CPR AM, an active asset management company recognized for its thematic and ESG expertise. At the same time, Valerie took on the supervision of Amundi's subsidiaries in Germany and Spain.
In 2020, she also took charge of the division dedicated to the Amundi Group's retail and private banking clients worldwide.
She was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Amundi in May 2021, succeeding Yves Perrier.
Valérie is a member of the Board of Directors of CA Indosuez Wealth, a member of the Strategic Committee of the Association Française de la Gestion Financière (AFG) and President of Paris Europlace Investors' College, which recently published the report "Investing with Purpose and Responsibility".

Guido Fürer is a member of the Group Executive Committee at Swiss Re. As Group Chief Investment Officer, he is responsible for Swiss Re's Global Asset Management. He also serves on the Board of Directors of several of Swiss Re's legal entities in the US and Europe, and in 2019 additionally assumed the roles of Swiss Re's Country President Switzerland as well as Chair of Swiss Re's Strategic Council.
In addition, Guido is a member of the Board of Directors of FWD Insurance Group, as well as a co-founder and steering board member of the Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance. Guido also represents Swiss Re at the World Bank's Global Infrastructure Investment Facility and the WEF's Global Agenda Council. Together with The Geneva Association, a leading industry think tank, Guido co-founded the Insurance CIO Network.
In his earlier roles at Swiss Re, Guido was Head of Swiss Re's CIO Office and Chief Investment Officer for the Business Unit Reinsurance, as well as having worked for Swiss Re Capital Partners and the New Markets Division in pioneering the Insurance-Linked Securities market.
Prior to joining Swiss Re in 1997, Guido held leading positions at Swiss Bank Corporation/O'Connor & Associates in option trading and at its Capital Market division in Chicago, New York, London and Zurich. Dr. Bronwyn King AO began her medical career working as a doctor on the lung cancer ward at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, Australia. While doing her best to treat her patients (many of whom had started smoking in childhood) Dr King observed first-hand the truly devastating impact of tobacco - many deaths and much suffering. She was unaware that at the very same time she was investing in Big Tobacco via her compulsory superannuation (pension) fund. Tobacco Free Portfolios was set up in response to that uncomfortable discovery. Since then, Dr King has assembled an accomplished team that has been instrumental in advancing the switch to tobacco-free finance across the globe. Her 2017 TEDxSydney talk on tobacco-free finance has been viewed more than three million times.

Alexander Stafford is the Conservative MP for Rother Valley. His election in December 2019 marked the first time the seat had been won by a non-Labour candidate since the constituency’s creation in 1918.

Christian Gueckel is the Chief Risk Officer at SEDCO Capital and responsible for risk management and responsible investments. He joined SEDCO Capital in 2014 as Head of Research. Christian is a member of SEDCO Capital’s Investment Committee, Management Committee, Risk and Compliance Committee and Cyclical Asset Allocation Committee.
